Painting depicting the three ancient Roman Horatii brothers saluting their father as he holds their swords aloft before they go to fight the Curiatii brothers. It was painted by French artist Jacques-Louis David and his student Anne-Louis Girodet-Trioson in 1786, orginally titled: Oath of the Horatii.
