The print is part of a portfolio of 6 silkscreen poster prints published in the 1940's of Lautrec's famous impressions of The Moulin Rouge nightlife in Paris. Henri de Toulouse Lautrec ( 1864 - 1901 ) the French painter, printmaker, and illustrator who's immersion in the colorful and theatrical life of Paris in The 19th Century, allowed him to produce a collection of enticing, elegant and provocative images of the modern sometimes decadent affairs of those times. The original vintage silkscreen poster print measures 9 1/2" W X 13" H. It is plate signed in the print by the artist. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling and use. There are 2 small pinholes in the top center margin area. Please see photos for condition reference.
