The front is entirely sculpted out of a solid piece of wood by hand, then covered with metal sheeting. The available options for metal cladding are brass, white bronze, antiqued bronze, silver and copper. Both silver and copper will tarnish over time. Regular non-abrasive household metal polishes can be used to restore the original finish.
