Mint condition new old stock from a complete copy of Derrière Le Miroir. Alberto Giacometti (1901–1966) was a Swiss sculptor, painter, draftsman, and printmaker renowned for his distinctive and evocative style. He is best known for his elongated, thin sculptures of human figures, which often appear fragile. These emaciated figures are often interpreted as an expression of the existential fear, insignificance and loneliness of mankind. The mood of fear in the period of the 1940s and the Cold War is particularly reflected in his work
