This is a 1928 woodcut lithograph signed in pencil by renowned artist Birger Sandzen. This was done in 1 edition of 100 prints. Authenticated in 2023 by Ron Michael, Director of the Birger Sandzen Memorial Art Gallery in Lindsborg, Kansas. Birger Sandzen is a prominent landscape painter who taught at Bethany College in Lindsborg for nearly 50 years. He traveled to Colorado often and this is the location for Veteren Pines. Sandzen’s artwork has greatly appreciated in the last several years.
