$433

Golf Player is an artwork realized by Victor Spahn in the second half of the 20th century. Colored lithograph on paper. Hand-signed in pencil on the lower right. Numbered. Edition, 168/300. Very good conditions. The artwork represents a tennis player before an emerald green background, in contrast with the skin of the figure. The artwork was realized by Victor Spahn (b. 1949), a contemporary French painter famous for his representations of sporting events. Spahn expresses the swing of a golf club, the speed of a Formula One car, and the rushing water under a racing yacht. The artist studied under André Lanskoy. Spahn lives and works in Montparnasse, France. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
