Richardson graduated from the Dayton Art Institute school in 1964, spent 5 years teaching art in high schools, then took his master of fine arts in printmaking at Pratt Institute. He exhibited in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York City, and Paris. Some of his pieces have been part of the Dayton Art Institute’s Circulating Gallery. He was a member of the University of Dayton’s visual arts faculty from 1970 to his death in 1990, at the age of 49."
