Starring Allison Hayes, William Hudson, and Yvette Vickers, the film tells the story of Nancy Archer, a wealthy but troubled woman who encounters an alien and subsequently grows to an enormous size. This transformation leads her to seek revenge on her unfaithful husband, Harry, and his mistress, Honey Parker. It is remembered for its unique premise and dramatic poster art by Reynold Brown, which sees the (considerably-taller-than) 50-foot woman stepping over a highway overpass and wreaking havoc on the traffic below. It has gained a cult following over the years and been the subject of various film adaptations and homages.
