Vintage Mid 20th Century original oil-on-canvas deer landscape painting signed W. Kretzschmann, 1965. This painting is believed to be German in origin and depicts a majestic stag approaching three does in a forest clearing. The frame itself is a beautiful, unique and rustic burl-wood. The painting measures 31 1/8” wide, 23 1/8” tall and 1 1/4” thick. It has had some minor professional restoration work (a small tear) that is not detectable and is otherwise in excellent condition.
