Vintage mid century print reproduction of the "Farnese Horses" equestrian statues. Originally etched by Carlo Nori after drawings of Jian Casanova. The original etchings were part of the 18th century documentation of discoveries of Herculaneum. The etching illustrate ancient Roman bronze statues of horses, sometimes referred as "The Palmo" or "Napolitano" horses. The prints are housed in brown faux leather textured frames, and double matted in light blue fabric matts.
