A young boy is enjoying a giant chocolate bar so much that is entire face is gets smeared by it! Raymond Savignac, often just abbreviated to "Savignac", was a French graphic artist famous for his commercial posters. He was born on November 6, 1907 in Paris, and died on October 31, 2002 in Trouville-sur-Mer (Calvados), aged 94. His work is distinguished by a humorous simplicity. **The piece came from the estate of an avid collector of French posters in Pacific Heights San Francisco and is framed of museum quality - the masking tape and paper on the back of are showing signs of age.
