Very large vintage hermetically sealed framed Hildebrando De Castro pastel painting on paper, "Untitled" Chix 1991. Hildebrando De Castro, (Brazilian, b. 1957). In the 1990s, Castro's work was characterized by the depiction of common or eccentric figures, often dramatized and portrayed in an extravagant manner. This piece depicts a man gesturing while holding a chicken, in abstract, emulating other works depicting Christ gesturing while holding an orb. Produced for an Atlanta exhibition of his works in the 1990's. Framed in a gloss black wood frame with UV glass. Signed "Hildebrando De Castro 91 Atlanta" vertically on the lower right corner.
