Arches vellum paper Portfolio Size: 71 x 56 cm / 27.9 x 22 in Paper Size: 69.6 x 54 cm / 27.4 x 21.2 in. Signed in the plate "Mane Katz". It was printed in a limited edition of only 300 impressions by Andre Sauret for Mourlot Freres, Paris, in France in January 1966 and published by Boston Book and Art Shop, Boston Massachusetts, USA. Printed on one side only. Mane Katz started a series of gouaches in 1958 in Geneva to illustrate the story Stempeniou. He completed them all in New-York later on and asked the famous printer Fernand Mourlot help for printing a limited edition of a portfolio of original prints all based on the gouaches he made. Mane Katz started designing the 12 plates in 1960 but died before completing them, leaving this project to his friend Alexis Manaranche who completed it in 1966. We combine shipping whenever feasible.
