This pair of iconic modernist images by the world famous artist Marc Chagall (Russia/France 1887-1985) was part of a series of images created by Chagall for the ballet.. The lithographs (offset) in this series were printed by Mourlot Freres in Paris c.1969. The images have text and/or another image on the reverse. Some are signed in the plate.
