About the artist: Paul Colin (1892-1985) was a prolific master of poster illustration, producing over 1,900 in his lifetime, as well as book designs, theater sets, and costume designs. Influenced by Cubism and Surrealism, he was known for his masterful integration of organic and figural subjects with geometric forms.
