Hues of purples, pinks, blues and yellows make up this surrealist, visionary cityscape. A jumbled blue and purple cityscape reaches up into the yellow sky. There are circular shapes throughout the cityscape, some of which appear to be hollow or have holes in the center. Unframed. Canvas size: 40"H x 30"W Initialed "TF" in the lower right corner. Acquired with a collection of the artist's work. Travis Flack was born in Santa Rosa, California and is known for his vibrant, surrealist paintings. Originally starting out in the graffiti and Skateboard art movement at a young age, Flack won second prize in an open competition which led to painting a mural at local a skate park. Thereafter, Flack started exhibiting his surrealist oil paintings in local exhibitions around Sonoma County. His series "Visions of the Metropolis" was displayed at Montmartre in 1997.
