"Shoes are a subject that has fascinated me since I was a child because I've always known they have to do with the importance of feeling good," says Costa Rican artist Magda Cordoba who created a series around this theme by working with watercolor and ink on paper. She uses the collage technique where she cuts each shoe, places it on the paper and then gives them a color treatment.
