A watercolor painting by the American artist Virginia Brooks (1925-2021). This work depicts a group of raccoons in shades of black and brown. The painting is unframed. Born in Cincinnati, Brooks studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy as well as the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she received her undergraduate degree in Art Education. She was a member of the American Watercolor Society, the Midwest Watercolor Society, and the Cincinnati Women's Art Club.
