San Francisco Art Museum. My friend bought this painting from artist Frances Lieberman in the 1970's. Miss Lieberman is listed on the drop down category of famous artist's that we vendors use on Chairish. The oil on canvas pulls us into another time and place, a time every kid remembers. The combination of bright pallet combined with muted tones is magical; including the old barker, the ferris wheel, and the side show advertisements. Frances Lieberman(1911-2003) came to prominence in the 1930-50's San Francisco art scene where she showed and worked with some of her other famous colleagues Ralph Sackpoole and Nelson Pole. She was in famous exhibitions all over the country and ended up hanging in the San Francisco Art Museum.
