William Goliasch was a Swiss painter born in 1922 and passed away in 1986. He is renowned for his evocative winter landscapes and also produced abstract paintings and still life. Goliasch began his painting career in the 1940s and held his first exhibition in 1950 at the Galerie Saint-Gervais in Geneva. He continued to exhibit regularly in Switzerland, as well as in France and Germany. His works often depict urban landscapes and architectural themes, characterized by a figurative style. Notable pieces include "Lighthouse" (1974), "Sicily Landscape" (1972), and "Dike in Bretagne" (1976). Goliasch's artworks have been sold at public auctions over 100 times, primarily in the painting category. His pieces are part of various private collections and continue to be appreciated for their unique style and thematic depth. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
