Bretagne is an Etching realized by Willy Anthoons in Mid-20th century. The little artwork with vivid colours is in good condition. No signature, included a cream colored cardboard passpartout (22x27 cm). Willy Anthoons (Mechelen 25 Mar 1911; Charenton-le-Pont 17 Dec 1982) was a non-figurative Belgian sculptor. Anthoons has made wooden steles (oak, olive tree, pear tree, ebony and various exotic woods), stone and bronze, as well as folded and polychrome aluminum hanging mobiles. He also participated in the decoration of several churches, especially in Brittany. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
