Flower painting fills me with joy. It makes the winter months pass with less of a chill. I buy flowers from my local farmers market and rush home to paint them. I daydream about the Spring and the Summer when I paint them. These are Ranunculus arranged in a still life with drop shadows. See second photo showing all four paintings in this series.
