Figural study of a young woman holding a recorder and contrasted against a jade and brown background. Signed lower right, "Roberto Lupetti" (Italian-American, 1918-1997), a listed artist, and painted circa 1975. Lupetti first studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and later worked on the restoration of the Sistine Chapel ceiling. He exhibited widely and with success and was also an influential teacher at the San Francisco Art Institute.
