KPM (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin) is the Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin, founded in 1763 by King Frederick the Great of Prussia. Renowned for its handcrafted porcelain, every painted piece bears the signature of its artist and the factory's distinctive cobalt-blue scepter mark. Throughout its history, KPM has produced luxury tableware, figurines, and decorative objects while evolving through Rococo, Neoclassical, Art Nouveau, and Bauhaus design movements. The factory pioneered innovations in porcelain production and collaborated with many of Germany's leading artists and designers. Despite wars, relocation, and changes in ownership, KPM has remained in continuous production for over 260 years. Today it continues to manufacture high-end porcelain in Berlin, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.
