A French Egyptian revival marble clock, circa 1920s. This is a gold marble clock with mercury filled pendulum displayed in a glass compartment and a painted enamel face with Roman numerals. It is topped with a bronze winged sphinx which is flanked by marble columns adorned with bronze scroll work. Both the front and back glass pieces are hinged and open for easy access. The key is included with this piece. This is an exquisite and beautiful clock and is a very rare piece.
