This traditionally styled German cuckoo clock brings charming Black Forest craftsmanship to your home. Featuring wooden hands and a wood dial adorned with Roman numerals, this clock showcases a warm light yellow hand-painted and hand-carved cuckoo bird. The intricately designed clock case is surrounded by eight deeply carved, painted maple leaves, complemented by three hand-carved birds one at the roofs peak and one on each side with a detailed nest and eggs. Every hour, the two birds beside the clock dial come to life, playfully feeding the baby birds in the nest. The clock is powered by a 30-hour all brass mechanical Regula movement, made in Germany, and is easily wound daily by raising the two cast iron pine cone weights suspended by brass chains. The hand-carved maple leaf pendulum regulates the clocks timing, allowing for easy speed adjustments. On the hour, the cuckoo bird emerges to announce the time with a cheerful cuckoo call, repeating once for each hour, and a single call on the half hour.
