A chrome arc-shaped wall lamp with bracket designed by Robert Sonneman in the 1970's. A chrome ball-shaped shade hold a socket for a single bulb. The long, curved arm allows the light to extend over a space without needing overhead wiring. The lamp fits into a bracket that can be affixed to a wall, furniture, or other object. The chrome ball-shaped shade is a hallmark of Sonneman's style. The shade can be adjusted to direct light where needed. The interior of the shade is painted white to promote illumination. Sonneman was an influential American lighting designer in the 1960's and 1970's for his innovative use of geometric shapes and chrome finishes. Dimensions: 20" H X 21" W X 7" D. The lamp is in good condition for its age and use. There is light wear from storage.
