The particular cross-relief effect from which the models in this collection take their name is obtained with the “balloton" technique. During the hot working phase, the master blows the glass into a metal mold, the inside of which is studded with pyramid-shaped points: the material, filling the void, shapes itself, covering itself with this particular texture.
