Gino Sarfatti Model 238/1 Wall Lamps In Champagne - A Pair
$2,376
Chairish
Pair of Gino Sarfatti model 238/1 wall lamps. Designed in 1959, this is an authorized 2018 Astep/Flos re-edition by Alessandro Sarfatti, grandson of Gino Sarfatti, who applies his grandfather's scrupulous attention to detail and materials to offer a tightly curated selection of iconic lighting originally produced by Arteluce. Executed in a single opaline glass sphere held in place by a sculptural champagne finished metal structure. Professionally modified for mounting over standard US junction electrical box. Unused in original factory packaging. Throughout his life, the sky served as a muse for lighting master Gino Sarfatti. He was fascinated by the perfect light emitted by the Moon, and one of Gino Sarfatti’s most brilliant designs is inspired by the natural poetry of the luminous satellite. The Le Sfere collection is the largest product family by Gino Sarfatti with models that have developed over time, from the first single sphere, Model 237, to the iconic twenty-four-sphere chandelier. All created from the same fundamental principle: a beautiful interpretation of the perfect luminous sphere. Price is per pair. Also available in black as well as in larger multi-globe configurations. For time-sensitive orders, please inquire prior to purchasing. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request. Please note that these are unused new in box with professionally modified European wiring for US compatibility, but not under factory warranty. Made to order.
