Gino Sarfatti model no. 2065 wall lamp. Designed in 1950, this is an authorized 2021 Astep/Flos re-edition by Alessandro Sarfatti, grandson of Gino Sarfatti, who applies his grandfather's scrupulous attention to detail and materials to offer a tightly curated selection of iconic lighting originally produced by Arteluce. Model 2065 consists of a diffuser made of two joined opalescent perspex saucers perched upon a long and elegantly curved black painted steel tubular structure. Its diffusers are made of recycled and recyclable Green Cast®, maintaining the aesthetic of the original methacrylate while ensuring respect for the environment. The simplicity of Gino Sarfatti’s elliptical design and the lightness of the materials make for a seemingly weightless wall lamp. An iconic example of Sarfatti's innovative and experimental approach.
