Hope Wall Sconce

The Hope Wall Sconce by Luceplan finds its inspiration in the way traditional chandeliers use the optical and physical qualities that crystal and glass possess to multiply light sources into smaller light points. Created by Milan-based Industrial designer Francisco Gomez Paz, this design brings innovation and the long process of research together to produce the lightweight, molded, polycarbonate lenses featured in this piece. Harnessing the optical qualities of glass based on the principles of the Fresnel lens, these airy leaves capture and refract light beautifully as they are arranged around a light source by slender stems attached to a stainless steel structure, resulting in a modern composition that makes a statement.
