The Leo-G Wall Sconce from Ombre Portee offers an inspired astral ensemble to inside spaces. A simple structure devised by the daring and dedicated Eric de Dormaël, it’s made from richly-textured brass to mimic the eclipse of a full moon, leveraging the designer’s whimsy and diverse career to transform otherwise ordinary surroundings. A broad brass dish secures the fixture, while slender arms support a central lamp that projects backward onto it, creating a diffuse arrangement of ambient light that warms its surroundings.
