The Marquise Wall Sconce from Niche gives a glittering, enriching presence to vertical surfaces, juxtaposing the simplicity of the conventional sconce design with the refinement of handblown glass. A Jeremy Pyles design using a strong rectangular metal mounting to support the fixture, a single right-angled arm emerges from the upper end of a stepped, rectangular wall plate and extends a single socket below. The tapered shade of handblown glass emerges around the socket, transforming direct light into restrained radiance while transmitting a mix of wall wash and direct downlight below.
