A beautifully made wall lamp designed by josef frank and made in austria in the 1950's. The lyrically shaped brass tubing supports lamp shades with a feminine form tailored to emphasis the elegance of the design. The lamp has been tested and is in very good working condition including the switch. Mounting is done with a single brass screw. The shade sizes are: h. 17 cm, top d. 8.5 and bottom d. Is16. 5 cm. Shades are attached direct to the bulb using a clip. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
