Mid-Century Space Age Cross Oyster Style Wall Lamp By Klaus Link For Heinz Neuhaus Leuchten, Germany, 1960s

Chairish

$2,389

Rare wall lamp by Heinz Neuhaus Leuchten based on a design by Klaus Link from the 1960s. Due to the formal similarity to the Cross-Oyster, this design is often attributed to Rolf Krüger and Staff. The lamp consists of three parts. The wall mounting plate with two sockets, the curved reflector tray and the strikingly shaped front element. The front shields the lamps and protects against glare. The light comes out indirectly and is reflected by the gentle curve of the tub. Two additional burning points are located on the bottom of the lamp. Their light is directed directly downwards. The light has different switches and switching modes. The main lighting is operated via a pull switch, the lower lighting points are each operated via a push switch. This means that all lamps can be switched independently of each other. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
