1960s wall lamp designed by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce, model 42, featuring an adjustable cylindrical reflector in lacquered aluminium with a polished brass arm and black lacquered brass mounting ring and wall flange. The contrasting materials and clean geometric lines create a refined industrial aesthetic characteristic of mid-century Italian lighting design. The reflector can be adjusted to direct light as required, combining functionality with sculptural form. with its elegant balance of black lacquered surfaces and warm brass detailing, the lamp reflects Sarfatti’s innovative and highly architectural approach to lighting.
