Wall lamps produced in Murano around the late 1960s or early 1970s. Iconic pieces of Venetian design, featuring a cylindrical diffuser in opal white Murano glass, with red incalmo supporting the metal frame. The design may be by Renato Toso or Roberto Pamio, as both collaborated extensively with Leucos during that period. The body of the lamp is made of incamiciato glass, a technique that overlaps multiple layers of glass to achieve that uniform, luminous white. The wall bracket holding the lamp is made of brass. Excellent condition. Dimensions: H. 35.5 cm, Diameter 23 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
