Designed by Studio Andrée Putman for Lalique, the ORGUE lighting collection is both timeless and contemporary. Composed of chandeliers, wall-sconces and lamps, the collection presents modern and elegant lines highlighted by the purity and brilliance of crystal. It was born from the passion for beauty, the search for excellence, and the will to combine the talent and expertise of our glass-masters with the grand creativity of a Studio of international fame. The ORGUE collection evokes nostalgia for simple and pure lines, such as those that characterize the 1930’s while being resolutely contemporary: associated with the new possibilities that LED offers, the crystal of these chandeliers produce the effect of a rain shower of light. Trained as a jeweler at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris in the late 1880's, Rene Lalique gained recognition as an independent designer for some of the era's great jewelry houses including Cartier and Boucheron. Eventually, he turned to glassmaking, and his techniques were a triumph for the Art Deco movement. Every piece of Lalique is finely detailed and produced by hand in Alsace, France.
