This wall light is part of a family of lamps inspired by paper cuts as we used to make as children. These lights represent the joy and surprise of a child while discovering this technique. The cuts are not perfect at all, but that’s the beauty of it. And they shine an enchanting light! kiki van eijk: 'i had a box with all kind of leftover paper cuts in the studio. They were so intriguing that i couldn’t throw them away. It’s good to keep things that inspire you, although you don’t know the use of it…yet! when time passes by some good ideas suddenly pop up. And even if the good idea never comes, it brings you a lot of joy just observing these strange creatures. These lights are coloured in tones that were left overs of previous projects. I like to recycle materials for new purposes.' up to 250v (europe/uk standard).
