Pierre Disderot model #2059 large perforated wall lamp in black & brass. Originally designed in 1955, this clean and refined wall lamp is an authorized re-edition by Disderot made with many of the same small-scale manufacturing techniques and craftsmanship as the original run. Executed in perforated lacquered metal shade, this fluid and refined design is emblematic of Disderot's 1950s France. In the mid-1950s, Pierre Disderot designed an elegant sconce in the spirit of his 1013 table lamp; the tip of a sphere attaches to the wall by a thin clip and projects the light towards the ceiling to create ambient lighting in the room. The soberness and minimalism of this luminaire is resumed in the shape of a classic luminous bowl, the colored and perforated metal material is typical of the 1950s, yet its proportions and finishing give it a timeless aesthetic.Price is per item.
