Originally designed in 1955, this clean and refined wall lamp is an authorized re-edition by Disderot made with many of the same small-scale manufacturing techniques and craftsmanship as the original run. Comprised of a perforated lacquered metal shade and polished dark chrome, this fluid and refined design is emblematic of Disderot's, 1950s, France. CE listed, accommodates a single 75 watt max medium base e27 bulb. Numbered edition comes new in manufacturer's box with “Certificate of Authenticity”.In the mid-1950s, Pierre Disderot designed an elegant sconce in the spirit of his 1013 table lamp; the tip of a sphere attaches to the wall by a thin clip and projects the light towards the ceiling to create ambient lighting in the room.
