This table lamp was hand crafted in 1975 and 1978 at the Skultuna studio were Pierre Forssell was working with he's assistant. The lamp is made of a brass tube where some holes were drilled with the torch by these skilled craftsmans. Simple, minimal and elegant at the same time. The holes provides some warm atmosphere. The size is great to be used as a nightstand table, on a buffet or on a desk. Also in any other room as an entrance of the house. We do have a smaller version and suspensions in our collection. Feel free to reach out for a other models. _____________________________________________________________Pierre Oskar Paul Forssell, born 1925 in Stockholm, died 2004, was a Swedish designer, craftsman and silversmith.Forssell worked for Gense 1952–1964 where he designed the Piruett swivel fork (introduced 1955 on the H55, launched 1959) and the Spectra cutlery range (1961).
