This precious Set of Empire Style Gilt Bronze Wall Sconces by Gherardo Degli Albizzi features many finely hand chiseled details. This model is typical of French Empire period due to its rich ornamentation with geometric motifs, acanthus leaf volutes and festoons. Top is characterized by an urn enriched by a pine finial and a vegetal festoons. In the middle, big festoons are connected to the centre thank to a drapery knot while branches feature high quality hammered and chiseled decoration, both geometric and vegetal. Same vegetal motif even resume in lower part of this sconces with acanthus leaves and, at the bottom, a triple pine finial.
