A pair of wall lamps, model magnetlampan (“the magnetic lamp”), produced by the swedish manufacturer konsthantverk ab in hökerum in the 1960s. The lamps are crafted from steel with a warm golden finish and feature spherical shades held in place by strong internal magnets. This ingenious construction allows the shades to be freely adjusted to direct the light as desired. The magnetic attachment also makes it possible to detach the shade completely from the wall fitting, adding both flexibility and a playful functional element to the design.
