Early model rademacher wall lamp with large black-brown enameled shade. This lamp comes from germany, around 1930 and was probably used in a workshop or factory. Rademacher was founded by ernst rademacher in 1914 in düsseldorf under the name rademacher gmbh. From 1920 the company started producing work lights. These lamps are characterized by the very high quality parts and the patented and extremely inventive hinge system. We completely disassembled this lamp, cleaned it, coated it with a layer of clear lacquer and rewired it with a black grounded fabric cord, switch and plug. A number of parts are marked with the rademacher ''r''. The enamel shade has been damaged in the past and has been touched up as can be seen in the last two photos. A beautiful industrial design classic that fits into any interior! up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
