These are a pair of wonderful wall lamps in a lovely bright red color with the original shades included. It lights up with a very pleasant warm glow due to the white plastic cover inside the lampshade. This is a real splash of color where it's needed. They can be used as bedside lamps over the nightstands, in the hallway on the sides of a painting or mirror. Or beside the armchair. Uno and Östen Kristiansson were two Swedish brothers and designers who had a strong influence on Scandinavian design during the mid-20th century, particularly in lighting and mirrors. Uno founded the company Luxus in 1950, which became their common platform for design and production. Their style is clearly Scandinavian modernism: simple, functional, and aesthetically pure.They often used teak, glass, plastic, acrylic, and textiles.
