21st Century Eur Mirror By Matteo Stucchi And Yuan-Wen Wang

The playful exchange between mirror and inverted shapes, in which they recall the lines of the iconic “Colosseo Quadrato”, the building in the EUR district in Rome - designed in 1938 by three Italian architects: Giovanni Guerrini, Ernesto La Padula, and Mario Romano, reveals on a hypnotic leather the abstract paintings of the Japanese-born artist Yuan-Wen Wang. Taking inspiration from the facades of the the square Colosseum, EUR brings out its simplicity, elegance, and refinement.
