Architectural Mirror In The Manner Of George Ii

A George II style giltwood and carved rectangular gesso looking glass mirror in the manner of the 1730s. The mirror plate sits within a moulded frame with outset corners carved with trailing leaves and with shells at the top corners flanked by drapes and tassels. The scrolled cresting is centered by a cartouche above a shell and leaf carved frieze with a matching shell centering the apron. The shaped apron is fitted with a pair of adjustable brass candle arms and candle-holders.We are currently working to a 30-36 week lead time.
