Lara Bohinc draws on her experience in metalwork with the Celeste Console.This piece has an elegant and playful form made from square brass covered steel rod frame, that contrasts with the fresh green of the verdigris patinated copper surface, sides and drawer. The design plays with circles and straight lines to create a piece that is delicate, light but complex. Two different mirror shapes accentuate the wave in the console’s surface and its flowing, light form.The frame is made in acid brass covered steel and the top is made of Verdigris coated copper. The piece is made by hand in Italy. Please note that veridgris is a delicate chalky finish and it can stain with dark liquids like wine or coke. Note that Verdigris is a natural patina of the copper and its greenish colour and pattern may vary, sometimes it is more patchy and sometimes it can be almost uniform.
