Mirror PerfumerFor a famous perfumer we designed several bespoke pieces such as a bigbronze mirror for his showroom in Paris. The bronze frame is molded by hand, cast in oilsand and blackened afterwards.A polished bevel at the back reflects the light to the wall. The mirror itself is made to look antique. The antique mirror is availabel in several shades.Manufactured as made to order so slight variations will occur frompiece to piece. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surfacepitting. They will arrive with a bright finish but will oxidise and darken overtime to reveal a distinctive patina. Simply use a metal polish to restore alike-new finish. All pieces are numbered and signed at the back.StudioWe make objects and interior. Our objects include furniture, accessoriesand contemporary collectible design pieces. We work with global brands orwith private individuals on bespoke projects or on free projects. The act of making is vital to us. We make the most of our work in our studioor with professionals in their field which became friends and understand ourway of work and thinking. The way of working depends on the project. It is never the same. We don´thave a fixed method, this means a continuously process of learning andextensions of our skills. Experimenting and playing with materials are veryimportant to us. This often leads to untouched ideas. For us the border between art and design is like a gradient. Both can befound in our work.Fabio VogelBorn in Germany and raised in Portugal, Fabio Vogel graduated from BurgGiebichenstein with a Masters in Interior and Furniture Design (2016).
